SUNDAY WORSHIP
The worship service on Sunday December 11, 2022 will be live from Mt Paul, and streamed on Zoom too. This week Rev. Emily Cooke will be leading our service. Plura Hills will project the service on their screen. We will have the sanctuary open every Sunday to have either the minister leading the service in person, or we will project the service from Plura Hills on the alternate weeks. The service will begin at 10 am each and every week.
NATIONAL ADVENT SERIES – Regional Interactive Conversation on Zoom
Each Friday, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in Advent, you are invited to join a weekly zoom Southern Interior Region Advent Conversation. This will be informal with some good questions and conversation to engage the presenters’ topics of “Signs of the Time”; “Finding the Good Path”; “God’s Love Included everyone”; and “The Cost of Discipleship”.
We will meet on Fridays Dec. 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Sign-up for Friday conversations: [email protected] and/or [email protected] Rev. Emily Cooke will be helping with the Friday Zoom conversations.
DID YOU KNOW
DID YOU KNOW that the Christmas Eve service will be live at Mount Paul at 4:30 PM December 24; there will be a Christmas day service from Hills of Peace Lutheran church at 10:00 AM, and broadcast on ZOOM – link to be forwarded later; the January 1, 2023 service will be live from Plura Hills, and projected on the screen at Mount Paul at 10 AM; and Linda Langevin will lead the January 8, 2023 service live from Mount Paul at 10 AM.
Mt Paul – WHITE GIFT GIVING
Once again we are supporting the Y Women’s Emergency shelter–donations of NEW ITEMS–clothing, games or Gift Cards for Children, Youth and Women.
Grocery Hamper will be prepared – NON PERISHAVBLE, SMALL QUANTITY ITEMS please. Donations will be accepted Sundays at Worship Service. There’s a list available at the church, or by calling: Mary D or Betty G . Please see the post titled “Wish List.” Printed copies of the “Wish List” are available at the church. The last day for donations is December 24, 2022 (Christmas Eve).
BLUE CHRISTMAS AND CHRISTMAS SERVICES 
There will be a Blue Christmas Service on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at 6:30 PM at Kamloops United Church. Rev. Michael Caveney will be leading the Blue Christmas service and it will be for all 3 churches.
Rev. Emily Cooke is leading a Christmas Day service with Pastor Jane Gingrich from Hill of Peace Lutheran Church and Pastor Andrea Tisher from Southwest Community Church at 10:00 AM at Hills of Peace Lutheran Church (695 Robson Drive).
ANNUAL REPORTS
Annual Reports are due from working groups and chairpersons by January 21, 2023. In order for Margaret to compile and print the Annual Report before January 31, 2023 it is important to submit reports by the due date. When submitting your reports the heading of the report should be BOLDED and the font should be Arial 14. The body of the report should be in the font of Arial 12. Also, send documents in WORD format only (with the exception of financial and budget reports).

We all need those moments of quietude in this busy world. Come join Marcia online for a half hour of contemplation and inner preparation for the coming of Christmas. All are welcome!
This will be on Wednesdays Dec.14th, and 21st from 5 – 5:30 pm.

KUC – UKRAINIAN WELCOME DINNER
Join us for a dinner at Kamloops United Church and Kamloops Immigrant Services as they welcome Ukrainians to our city! They want YOU to be a part of the welcome.
