SUNDAY WORSHIP
The worship service on Sunday January 29, 2023 will be live from Mount Paul UC. Also it will be broadcast on Zoom. This week Rev. Emily will be leading the service at 10 AM at Plura Hills then again at 1:30 PM at Mount Paul. People are invited to attend Mt Paul UC every week to participate in the live service, or you may join with us via ZOOM to watch the service live from Mount Paul UC.
ANNUAL REPORTS
Thank you to everyone who submitted their reports for the Annual Reports. The reports can be picked up at Worship Service on January 29, 2023. After that date copies of the Annual Report will be mailed out to all congregants.
FELLOWSHIP
THANK YOU to all the folks providing coffee and nourishments during fellowship time after Worship.
VOLUNTEER NEEDED
M&P requires at least one more person to be on this committee to join Ken & Ernie. This committee is mandated by the United Church of Canada to be functional with a minimum of 3 members, and preferably more. This committee functions as the HR department for Mount Paul. Please consider volunteering for this committee at the AGM on February 12, as we can not continue without at least one more member. Thank you for considering this.
ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 12, 2023. There will be a potluck from 12 noon to 12:30 PM. The Annual Meeting is at 12:30 PM and will also be on ZOOM. The Worship Service will start at 1:30 PM. The ZOOM link for the AGM will be the same as the Sunday Worship Service ZOOM link.
Mt Paul – QUILTING BEE
Mt Paul United Church will be hosting a community quilting bee on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9 AM to 5 PM. The goal is to make a number of baby quilts to donate to charity. We (MPUC) will need volunteers to set up tables, provide food, lend irons, ironing boards, electrical cords, & power bars, do miscellaneous tasks and sign up volunteers.
Mt Paul – PLANT SALE FUNDRAISER
Mt Paul is hoping to host another plant sale fundraiser May 13, 2023. We are looking for people to:
Provide cuttings/plants, host seedlings while they grow and to work the sale. Please consider starting your seedlings soon so they will be big enough to sell.

Posting Prayers Weekly
This week we are praying for the ministry congregation of: Queens Ave. UC, Revelstoke UC, Richmond Chinese UC, Richmond UC, Robertson Memorial PC (Nakusp), and Robson Valley SM. As participants in the World Council of Churches, we are invited to remember and pray for the peoples of Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Western Sahara, and Tunisia.
