Mt Paul – SUNDAY WORSHIP
Sunday worship services will be held via ZOOM at 10:00 AM for the foreseeable future in accordance with the following: Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has announced wide-ranging new rules for controlling the spread of COVID-19, including mandatory masks in indoor public and retail spaces and restricting social gatherings to household members only for everyone across BC.

The Team consists of Kathy A, Chair; Donalda Jamrich, Secretary; Bev D, Treasurer; Ernie J, Director; Dorothy G, Director, Don L, M&P Chair; and David C, Minister.
Mt Paul – FEDERAL WAGE SUBSIDIES
Last week we received a Federal Wage subsidy of $1,912.74 bringing our total received in 2021 to $9, 000.85 and $24,485.62 since March of 2020. The program has been extended to September 25 if the Federal Budget is passed.
Mt Paul – REPRESENTATIVE NEEDED
Mount Paul is in need of a representative for the virtual Pacific Mountain Regional gathering to be held in mid June. Our long-time representative, Linda L, is moving, and we need to replace her. Regional gatherings are held annually, and this year’s event will be online. Please contact David, Kathy A, or Don L if you are interested in participating in the wider United Church. We will ensure you are registered for this event.
Mt Paul – BOTTLE RETURN
The bottle and can return bin in the church building has generated a small amount of income to help offset expenses over the years. Covid has made it impossible to drop off your bottles so we will come and pick them up or you can drop them off in the church parking lot on Friday May 28 between 1 and 3. Someone will be available to receive them – no contact. Or we can pick them up at your residence on Friday the 28th. Please contact the church office at 250-376-2261 and leave a message, or email Margaret at firstname.lastname@example.org. to arrange a pickup, leave them on the front step and someone will pick them up. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy A or Don L.
