SUNDAY WORSHIP
The worship service on Sunday March 5, 2023 will be live from Mount Paul UC also it will be broadcast on Zoom. This week Rev. Emily will be leading the service at 10 AM at Plura Hills then again at 1:30 PM at Mount Paul. People are invited to attend Mt Paul UC every week to participate in the live service, or you may join with us via ZOOM to watch the service live from Mount Paul UC.
RENEWAL OF BROADVIEW
The Broadview Magazine has changed its print frequency from 10 issues to 8 issues per year. The new group expiry date will be the June 22 issue. The renewal package will be due back by April 10, 2023. The price per subscription remains the same – just $25.00 per year. Make a note that the payment is for the Broadview Magazine. Please make sure that your renewal payment is received in the office by Friday March 31, 2023.
Mt Paul/Plura Hills – SOUP & PRAYER WEEKLY DURING LENT
On the Wednesday evenings in Lent, Plura Hills & Mt. Paul United, St. George’s Anglican, and Hills of Peace Lutheran invite you to join in a simple supper and time of prayer.
The dates are Wednesday March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
The address/location is 6958 Robson Drive – Hills of peace Lutheran Church.
Soup will be at 5:00 PM. Prayer will be at 5:30 PM (in-person and via ZOOM).

REGIONAL ZOOM BIBLE STUDY
Our next Regional Zoom Bible study will be on March 8, 2023 at 3 PM BC time. This Bible Study is co-led between Rev. Emily Cooke, Pastor Jane from Hills of Peace, and Pastor Barbra Groote of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kelowna.
QUILTING BEE
Mt Paul United Church will be hosting a community quilting bee on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9 AM to 5 PM. The goal is to make a number of baby quilts to donate to charity. We (MPUC) will need volunteers to set up tables, provide food, lend irons, ironing boards, electrical cords, & power bars, do miscellaneous tasks and sign up volunteers.
**Especially looking for people to provide some light refreshments.
PLANT SALE FUNDRAISER 
Mt Paul is hoping to host another plant sale fundraiser May 13, 2023. We are looking for people to: Provide cuttings/plants, host seedlings while they grow and to work the sale. Please consider starting your seedlings soon so they will be big enough to sell.

Posting Prayers Weekly
This week we are praying for the ministry congregation of: St. Andrew’s UC (North Vancouver, Quesnel, Rossland, Williams Lake), and St. Andrew’s UC/St. Mary’s Anglican SM (Lillooet). As participants in the World Council of Churches, we are invited to remember and pray for the peoples of Ireland, and United Kingdom.
KUC – GLOBAL MOVIE NIGHT
Join KUC’s Global and Community Action Group on Sunday March 5th for their showing of Hands On, with a discussion afterward. The movie starts at 7 PM in the KUC lounge.
Hands-on profiles five women from four continents tackling climate change through policy, protest, education, and innovation.
KUC – UKRAINIAN WELCOME DINNER
Join us for a dinner at Kamloops United Church as we welcome Ukrainians to our city! We are partnering with TRU, Immigrant Services, the Ukrainian Society, and the Ukrainian Catholic Church. We want YOU to be a part of the welcome. The next dinner will be held on Friday, March 17th at 6:00 pm in the church hall.
